What is Pilates?

Pilates is a form of exercise that focuses on strengthening the body’s core muscles improving flexibility and enhancing overall physical and mental well-being. It was developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century. It incorporates breath control, concentration, precision, flow, and control.

The exercises focus on proper alignment, efficient movement patterns, and mindful breathing to engage the deep stabilizing muscles of the abdomen, back, hips and shoulders.

Pilates Sculpt

Pilates Sculpt is a dynamic and challenging workout that combines traditional Pilates exercises with elements of strength training and cardio. This fusion style class aims to sculpt and tone the entire body while improving core strength, flexibility, and endurance.

In these classes Angela incorporates small equipment such as light weights, Pilates rings, resistance bands, and more.

Barre is a fitness workout inspired by ballet, incorporating elements of ballet, Pilates, yoga, and strength training. The classes involve low-impact, high repetition movements targeting a variety of muscle groups (with lots of focus on legs, hips, glutes, and core). The ballet-inspired nature of the class means there is focus on precision, control, and flow.

Angela is a passionate and certified Pilates instructor dedicated to guiding you to a stronger and more balanced body. Angela has a deep love for Pilates, through her own practice she experienced firsthand the benefits Pilates offers – improved strength, flexibility, and posture, along with a heightened sense of mind-body connection.


In Angela’s classes, you’ll find a supportive and encouraging environment where you can challenge yourself, build confidence, and discover the incredible potential of your body.

Whether you are new to Pilates or experienced Angela is committed to meeting you where you are at and helping you unlock your full potential.
